First off, The Police were amaaazing! They played for almost 2 full hours. And the opener, Fiction Plane, was equally rockin'. Suzanne and I were extremely impressed. Speaking of, check Suzanne's entry for more details in concise, bulleted-list form!
Secondly, iTunes has a "Next Big Thing" sale going on right now with a bunch of up-and-coming artists' albums on sale for $5.99 and $6.99. I know a lot of people prefer downloading because hi, it's free, but if you want to support a new artist, this is a great and cheap way to do so. I'm presently downloading Sara Bareilles' Little Voice, and another YOU MUST HAVE THIS album I'd recommend is, of course, The Cinematics' A Strange Education. GOOD STUFF, people. /pimp
Oh, and I've made a decision. I am going to see Pete Yorn in Milwaukee on August 18 at The Rave. My ticket has been purchased. And Suzanne, being the hook-up-ified DJ that she is, is trying to plan a Meet & Greet. She has to GET ON THAT, so that we can both partake of the glorious, perfect-handed, shiny-haired, scruffy-faced fruits of that labor. Mrawrrr. I mean, MEET PETE! It rhymes. The PR writes itself, people.
Though I'd still be more than willing to go to St. Louis on July 20 if anyone wants to go. But that'd kind of require a car, which, you know, I don't have. Though Darice said I / we could stay in their suite, and the show is free, so we'd really only have to pay for gas money and some of the hotel... *tempt tempt*
I think Tyler and I are going to the beach today. Whenever he calls me. Whenever he wakes up. Though it's bloody hot out, so we'll see how long that plan lasts. We spent a lot of time together Saturday, which was really nice - to just be together. I'd been a tad worried about "us" this week, for a couple of reasons, but we talked about it, and things are better. I think we were both kind of mulling some things over that we hadn't outright told each other, but now that we have, I feel better.
Oh, and Friday night was awesome. Julia, Jamie, John, and I hung out, and it was definitely a good time. I love those three Js.

And, OMG?! Sting was sleveless??!?!!
Uhm... I don't know? *hugs you*
OF COURSE he was sleeveless! Duuuuh! Sting never covers those manly arms!
Mraaaaaaaaah.
Bwahahahaha. I love Sting. Have you ever seen him in Dune?
Here ya go! :) And hey, you get a fairly young Patrick Stewart as part of your WHUT?!package!
Is that Kyle McLachlan?
And ZOMGEYEBROWZ on that one guy!
I prefer current, aged Patrick Stewart. Far sexier. Damn men, getting better looking with age...
And yeah, I think it is!
BWAHAHAHAHAHA, EYEBROWS. You need to attack HIS eyebrows... (I lurve mine, btw. Thank you!)
Heh. I think I do as well. And damn those Men.
